Śmierć w bazie McGuire (1978)

Post autor: Rysiek23 »

[ external image ]18 stycznia 1978 r.

"""""""""""""""""""""""Fort Dix/McGuire AFB Investigation

AbstractNIDS conducted a preliminary investigation into the alleged January 18, 1978 fatal shooting of a non-human (alien) entity at Fort Dix/McGuire AFB in New Jersey. The primary eyewitness in the case, Jeffrey Morse, alleged (i) that he had been working as a security policeman at McGuire AFB at 03.00 on January 18, 1978 when he was notified about UFO activity over Fort Dix army base that adjoined McGuire AFB. (ii) Morse alleged that he heard that a non-human entity had been shot and he later saw the dead body of the entity lying on the ground on a disused runway at McGuire AFB. (iii) The scene was rapidly cordoned off and the body was crated and flown to Wright-Patterson AFB (WPAFB) for examination. (iv)Morse himself, two days after the shooting incident, was allegedly summoned to WPAFB and interrogated about the event. He was warned to keep quiet and shortly thereafter was transferred to Okinawa, Japan. [NOTE: Although Morse real name is public knowledge, NIDS will adhere in this report to the confidentiality requirements of the witness and continue to call him Morse].This preliminary investigation was begun in order to assess whether it was worth committing NIDS time and resources to a full investigation. The purpose was to obtain some independent corroborative evidence or testimony regarding the reality of this incident. The body of this report contains the background and origin of the McGuire AFB case. Seeking corroborative evidence for the case, NIDS contacted the McGuire AFB historian, the National Archives, the Air Force Historical Research Agency, and conducted multiple database searches and telephone calls searching for Jeffrey Morse and for other alleged eyewitnesses.During the course of this preliminary investigation, NIDS successfully located and interviewed (a) the former base commander at McGuire AFB who was present on January 18, 1978, (b) the former commander of the 438th security police squadron who confirmed that he was security police commander at McGuire on January 18, 1978, (c) the former Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) detachment commander at McGuire AFB who confirmed that he was present at McGuire AFB on January 18, 1978 and (d) the former 21st Air-Force commander at McGuire AFB in 1978. All four individuals denied any knowledge of the incident.NIDS consulted a retired senior member of the 438th security police squadron regarding the alleged DD form 1569 (see introduction sections for full background) that appeared to be an official record of the incident. Seven separate discrepancies were found on DD form 1569 by the senior security police officer. These discrepancies led to his opinion that the DD form 1569 in question did not describe a real incident and was probably a forgery. Finally, NIDS obtained the name of an individual that the primary eyewitness Morse claimed had interrogated and debriefed him at Wright Patterson AFB following the shooting of the entity. The individual, who allegedly had played the bad guy during the interrogation was identified by name and rank by Jeffrey Morse. NIDS successfully located this individual who is a retired Judge Advocate General (JAG) Colonel and is presently employed at a prominent law firm on the East coast. This individual verified that indeed he had been associated with JAG at McGuire AFB at the time of the alleged incident but (a) he had never heard of the incident (b) he had never been to WPAFB at any time in his life and (c) he had no knowledge of any interrogation of Morse. Finally, NIDS confirmed that a Jeffrey Morse had worked as an E4 at McGuire AFB, but we were unsuccessful in locating this individual.Because (i) all five individuals who should have known about the case denied all knowledge, (ii) the DD form 1569 appeared to be fraudulent, (iii) the similarity in modus operandi and contemporaneous timing with other well documented UFO hoaxes (iv) the complete (100%) absence of any corroborating evidence, NIDS working hypothesis (which is subject to change based on further emerging evidence) is that the 1978 McGuire AFB incident did not happen. Further, the putative fabrication of the DD form 1569 suggests that the Fort Dix/McGuire incident may be a hoax. The discussion section of the NIDS report references three other hoaxed UFO cases that were orchestrated during the same period (1977-1982) as the McGuire case. These three cases are associated with fabricated official documentation, one of which was a forged incident form. NIDS recognizes our failure to find Jeffrey Morse for the purpose of interview is a major deficiency in this preliminary investigation. To this end, NIDS encourages individuals who have knowledge of this case to contact us, particularly if germane evidence is available. The case is still pending.""""""""""""""""" żródło: http://web.archive.org/web/20071007135530/http://www.nidsci.org/articles/articles1.php
